So, a couple of lines about my blog – what it aims to achieve, etc… as someone who doesn’t have a collosal marketing department (or budget) behind them, the best way I know of enthusing, exciting and motivating people is to speak to them with honesty, directness, and from the heart. So here goes!
There are a couple of focus areas:
1. Five Element Acupuncture – hopefully enlightening (or at least giving some food for thought for) you, the reader, on what the Five Elements are and how they affect us.
2. Nature. A constantly changing force around us, inspiring, uplifting, calming, and at times terrifying (my thoughts go out to the tsunami victims & their families in Japan). The ancient Chinese believed that what went on in nature also went on within us – and a greater knowledge and understanding of nature helps us understand ourselves.
3. Information, links and resources for health related issues, especially acupuncture related ones. There is a mass of information out there, both positive and negative – so I’d like to wade through some of it, to provide a tiny speck of clarity in the minefield of bumpf that most busy people who are interested in their health just don’t have a chance to get to do. Because I’m interested in health and there’s nothing I like better than knowing someone has made a concious decision to improve their own health – good on you!
Which should be enough to keep it simple, enjoyable, informative – and raise a thought or two. Enjoy.
